Description
A crow's nest is a structure in the upper part of the main mast of a ship that was used as a lookout point for the observation of hazards. The term "lookout" by itself originally comes from this naval background, where lookouts would watch for other ships, land, and various dangers.
Part of the miniature drawings collection "Sailing ship details".
